          FROM EUROPEAN UNION

          EUROPEAN COMMISSION

Covid-19 imposed distance education measures revealed several structural issues related to digital education and broader weak spots in education systems that extend beyond contextual and sector-related issues. To address such issues, the Commission published the Digital Education Action Plan (2021-2027), which includes the development of a Digital Education Hub that will be created as part of the European Education Area portal.

          EUROPEAN COMMISSION

The new call under the DIGITAL Europe Programme, titled “Specialised education programmes or modules in key capacity areas,” was launched to support the development of bachelor's and master's courses for ICT and digital professionals. The programmes should be jointly designed by universities, research centres and businesses involved in the digital sector.

An info session “Partner for DIGITAL Skills” will take place in October 2022 so as to present the call in detail and to offer the opportunity to future applicants to present their organisations. More information here.
