| | | Sponsor an Alumna Initiate Candidate |
| | | Do you know an outstanding woman whom you think would make a great Alpha Chi Omega? Women we’ve welcomed through this program have included our friends, family members, coworkers, campus professionals and other women who have made a difference in their communities, in their professions and in the lives of others. Alpha Chi Omega shapes the future through the powerful, transformative and everlasting connections of real, strong women. The National Alumna Initiate Program (NAIP) extends our membership experience to real, strong women in our communities who identify with the mission and values of Alpha Chi and care about our philanthropic initiatives, who did not have the opportunity to join Alpha Chi Omega as a collegiate member. Please let us know if you have a friend, family or neighbor that you think would make a great Alpha Chi Omega.
Contact Bev Nichols at [email protected] for more information. |

| | | | | | Silence the Violence Recap |
| | | Mu Mu hosted its 21st Annual Silence the Violence event at Silo Modern Farmhouse, raising money for Rose Brooks and the Alpha Chi Omega Foundation. This year we raised over $53,000, bringing the total we have raised from this event to over $300,000. It was the highest attended STV yet! Attendees loved the Whiskey Pull, Wine Pull and Gift Card Wheel in addition to the live and silent auction and Call to Action. Thanks to everyone who sponsored, attended and/or donated! Our STV committee did an outstanding job this year. Many thanks to them for all the work and love they did to make this event the best ever. |

| | | | | | A great turnout of 17 met at Caleb’s Breakfast & Lunch on Red Bridge in Kansas City on September 1. The winning entree from a big menu of choices was shrimp and grits topped with bacon, onions and over easy eggs. Our thoughts are today with Marilyn Lucas, Gamma Zeta (Kansas State University) ’55, on the passing of her husband Clarence (Luke) on September 21 at the age of 96. His services will be in Ellinwood, Ks. A celebration of life is planned for October 17. |
