This vibrant geometric mandala is made from hundreds of vintage postage stamps with chakra-inspired colors, and is complete with a built-in crystal shelf that transforms the work into a living, interactive experience. The crystals invite grounding, meditation, and intention-setting with every glance. Hold a stone, connect inward, and let the piece guide your energy. A Million Little Moments of Presence: Simple Mindfulness Pauses for Everyday Life, is now available on Amazon. This small book grew out of a simple idea, shaped by my own experience and daily meditation practice: mindfulness isn't something we have to add to our already busy lives. It is something we can discover inside the moments that are already here. Waiting at a red light. Standing in line. Walking to the car. Pausing between one task and the next. These ordinary moments can become small doorways back into presence.

The book is available in paperback and Kindle. You can find it here.

Photography has always been an important part of my creative life alongside my mixed-media artwork. I earned my photography certificate from the Chicago Photography Academy, later taught photography at Robert Morris University, and worked professionally for many years in real estate photography and as a licensed aerial drone operator. I continue to return to the camera whenever I can, especially for projects that let me explore architecture, history, and place.

Rising above Chicago’s Bucktown neighborhood, St. Mary of the Angels is both monumental and unexpectedly serene. Its great dome, richly detailed interior, and ring of 26 sculpted angels create an architecture that feels designed as much for contemplation as for beauty and grandeur. You can view the complete St. Mary of the Angels portfolio and accompanying essay, along with many of my other photography series, at www.jordanscottphotography.com
