Thru-hulls are in, the fridge has a surprise, new friendships are growing, and God continues to provide!

| | ⚓ New thru-hulls are installed - A major milestone toward getting back in the water.
🖌️ Jessi's bunk is ready for paint - After hours of building, epoxy work, measuring, and finishing details to hide wiring and hoses, it's finally ready.
🕙 Still waiting on the new strut - It should have been cast last week and moved to the refinery. We're praying to hear that it's on its way soon! |

| | With a 40 year old sailboat... you cross one thing off the list and add another one on 🙃 |

| | While defrosting our refrigerator this week, we discovered the cooling coil is separating from the unit. This repair will be imperative before we head to the Caribbean. |
|

| | Thankfully, we already have a second 12-volt refrigerator/freezer on board, so we have what we need while we decide the best repair, rebuild, or replacement option. |
|

| | Would you believe the best part of being in the boatyard hasn’t been the projects? |

| | This week we helped a gentleman dry-fit a new solar arch on his boat. As we worked together, he began asking questions about our story, wondering if Tim was retired. That simple question opened the door to share about the mission God has called us to and the ministry we'll soon be doing throughout the Caribbean.
We’ve also enjoyed getting to know the boatyard crew and the people God has placed around us. Sharing a simple snack of homemade salsa during a break or sharing gently used life jackets with two little girls living in the yard has opened doors for connection.
We’re thankful for the conversations that happen in the ordinary moments...walking to the bathhouse, picking up packages, or simply taking time to listen to someone’s story. |

We’re continuing to pray for opportunities to build relationships, share Christ, and encourage those God places in our path. |

| | We want to give God all the praise and glory for His faithful provision.
Our current estimated cost for this haul-out is just over $11,000, and through the generosity of so many of you, more than $7,500 has already been provided!
We are overwhelmed by the prayers, encouragement, and support that have carried us through this process.
What a gift it is to watch God provide through His people. Thank you for standing alongside us as we prepare Doulos for the work He has ahead. |
