• I recently returned from the 2026 MTNA National Conference in Chicago, where I reconnected with colleagues from around the country and got new ideas about teaching. The organization celebrated its 150th anniversary!

• I’m really excited to perform with my friend Arman Tigranyan, an amazing violinist and conductor visiting from Europe! We have two concerts coming up - this weekend and next:

• I had a great time playing with Fuse Ensemble last year at Roulette NYC with Pamela Z, and we just recorded her “Ways of Looking” for an upcoming album! In April we performed our new program “UnEarthed” in Charlottesville, VA.

• I have joined the faculty of the Orfeo Music Festival in Italy, and am looking forward to bringing students in summer 2027! Advanced players of all ages are welcome.

• Some of my private students are graduating from high school this spring, so there are openings in my private studio for next year (2026-2027). If you know someone who is looking for piano lessons, please let them know!

• The magazine United States of Italy interviewed me recently – it’s online in Italian and in print in English!

• In the fall, I presented at the VMTA State Conference, and performed in the teachers’ concert for the third year in a row. I also gave presentations to Music Teachers Associations in Richmond, VA and Bangor, ME.

• Locally, I was just elected Vice President of the Northern VA Music Teachers Association. It's inspiring to work with so many wonderful teachers in my area!
