A new monograph titled Research Methods in Management: A Philosophy of Science Perspective has just been released by the prestigious international publisher Edward Elgar Publishing. Co-authored by researchers from the Krakow University of Economics — Prof. Dr Habil. Marek Lisiński, Full Professor, Dr Habil. Marek Szarucki, Associate Professor and Dr Oskar Kosch, Assistant Professor — the book is not only the culmination of years of research into the methodology of management sciences, but also a unique intergenerational project.
It brings together a PhD supervisor, his former doctoral candidate, and that candidate's own student. In this interview, we speak with the authors about the standing of the Polish school of management on the international stage, the role of philosophy in research, and the challenges facing modern academia. Balkans – Japan: New Mobility Opportunities Discussed at UEK |
|
On March 18, another meeting in the “Mobility with the International Programs Office” series took place at the Krakow University of Economics. The event, titled “Balkans – Japan: New Mobility Opportunities,” focused on international exchange opportunities available through the STEP and CEEPUS programmes.
During the meeting, students learned about the STEP scholarship programme of the Japanese government, which enables a semester of study at Hiroshima University of Economics, as well as the CEEPUS (Central European Exchange Program for University Studies), supporting academic mobility within Central Europe and the Balkans. |
