Image description

For decades, we’ve partnered with practices to handle the complexities of accounting, tax, payroll, and business planning, helping you stay focused on what matters most – quality patient care. We’re grateful for the trust you place in us and look forward to continuing to serve you for many more years to come!

As we celebrate our 75th anniversary, we want to recognize and sincerely thank our partners and consultants (left to right), Julianna Sandlin, Jason Sasser, Frank Nixon, Greg Sasser and Dan Aycock for their leadership, dedication, and vision. This exciting milestone reflects many years of their hard work and commitment to our clients and our team.

We also extend our heartfelt appreciation to our entire staff whose passion, professionalism, and teamwork continue to drive our success and make everything we do possible.

2026 Business Standard Mileage Rate

The Internal Revenue Service set the standard mileage rate for business use of automobiles at 72.5 cents per mile, up 2.5 cents from 2025.

Optional standard mileage rates are used to calculate the deductible costs of operating vehicles for business purposes. The rates apply to fully electric and hybrid automobiles, as well as gasoline and diesel-powered vehicles.  Use of the standard mileage rates is optional. Taxpayers may instead choose to calculate the actual costs of using their vehicle.

Taxpayers using the standard mileage rate for a vehicle they own and use for business must choose to use the rate in the first year the automobile is available for business use. Then, in later years, they can choose to use the standard mileage rate or actual expenses.

For a leased vehicle, taxpayers using the standard mileage rate must employ that method for the entire lease period, including renewals.

Phishing Alert - Advice from the IRS

Phishing is the practice of sending fraudulent communications disguised to appear to be from a reputable source. These attacks, usually through email but increasingly through text messages, are an attempt to try to steal personal and financial information.

The IRS does not request personal or financial information from taxpayers by email, phone or other types of electronic communication, such as text messages and use of social media channels.  Banking information for payments and refunds should be provided to your tax preparer ONLY and all payments are made through irs.gov.  Do NOT reply to any suspicious emails or phone calls asking for personal or financial information.

If you receive a suspicious IRS-related communication:

1. Don’t reply to the sender.

2. Don't click, save, or open any attachments. They can contain malicious code that may infect your computer or mobile phone.

3. Don't click on any links. Visit the IRS’s identity protection page if you clicked on any links in a suspicious email or website and entered confidential information.

4. Immediately forward the entire message, with the full email headers, to [email protected]. Don't forward scanned images because this removes valuable information.

5. Delete the original email.
