Responsible Engineering in the Age of AI: The Value of Responsible AI Education from Engineering Students' Perspectives

With the increasing integration of AI into engineering work and research, comes the responsibility for engineering educators to communicate AI's implications for society in engineering education.

In a new paper in the SEFI Journal of Engineering Education Advancement, authors Marie Mirsch, Sarah G. Moreno, Ben Schultz, and Carmen Leicht-Scholten of RWTH Aachen University investigated students' reflection papers on a master's seminar course on Responsible AI in engineering, to determine the relevance that engineering students give to their Responsible AI education.
