The fourth edtion of the international conference Perspectives About Truth took place online, on 14–15 November 2025, gathering researchers from philosophy, logic, and neighbouring fields for two days of rich discussions on truth, meaning, ethics, political philosophy, and formal semantics.
This year’s edition featured keynote lectures by Peter Eldridge-Smith (ANU), Paul Horwich (NYU), Graham Priest (CUNY Graduate Center), and Gabriel Sandu (University of Helsinki).
A special highlight of the 2025 programme was the Truth & AI panel, which emerged from an ongoing research project developed under the SEFI ETHICS SIG umbrella. This section explored the interaction between theories of truth and contemporary issues in artificial intelligence, including semantic modelling, explainability, and constraints of AI systems.
