Hello NadiOm Tribe!



Well, it's been a hot minute since we've landed in your inbox, so I thought I'd bring you an update as we head into the FALL season!

First, I want to thank everyone for continuing to support our mission to bring yoga to EVERY BODY! George restarted some classes in August and we'd love to see you there ... 

George secured a space at the Marion Oaks Community Center (MOCC) where he's teaching his Gentle Yoga class at 11:30am on Tuesdays. You can purchase and schedule your MOCC yoga class (DropIn or Class passes are available) in the StudioBookings store! This class is limited to 10 participants. DropIns are welcome at the MOCC, but will require CASH for payment.


George is also teaching his Thursday night ONLINE Daily Living Yoga class. In the StudioBookings store, you'll see an ONLINE Yoga Dropin and an ONLINE Yoga 5-Class pass available. These yoga passes are for any ONLINE yoga classes that are on the schedule. ONLINE Daily Living Yoga is Thursdays at 6pm. Registration is required to receive the ZOOM link to attend.

We're also gearing up for our FALL Yoga Tools Course! This course will be held at the MOCC on Mondays and Wednesdays starting October 20th. Registration is REQUIRED to attend. The best way to get the word out is sharing your experience about us. And you can send anyone interested to the Yoga to Overcome page on our website to get more information and sign up!

You've probably noticed it's taking a bit longer to get the Video Library up and running. Truth is, I've needed a bit more time for myself with all the things that've happened over the last year and I've just now started to get some motivation back to work on it (I know, I know - but I'm really trying to take to heart my own advice about self-care 😁. I hope you understand 💜). Anywho ... I'm back in school and celebrating my birthday week and THEN I'll be back at getting some things updated online and ready for when I head back to Florida in October! 


Pita, on the other hand, in thoroughly enjoying running around like a banshee on the farm! Every time I try to get a video, she zooms by me and I never quite get the camera out (mostly because I never know when she's going to break out in a full run). She did pull a little something in her leg the other week and had to take it easy for a day or two (must be nice, takes us weeks to recover, am I right?), but she's back at full steam now.


And now for your North Michigan wildlife count update:

Deer: 13

Black squirrel: 1

Brown squirrel: 3

Bunny: 1

Chipmunk: 2

Porcupine: 1

Raccoon: 3  

Skunk: 3 (mostly by smell)

Miniature horse: 1

Goat: 1

Not sure how "wild" those last two are. They hang out on the neighbors property with the Goat doing goat noises when it sees Pita!

We hope you're enjoying your summer and looking forward to the upcoming FALL season. I have a couple of class ideas in mind for my return so BOLO (be on the lookout) for those details soon...

The Yoga Tools Course (YTC) is a four week program that allows those wishing to add yoga to their health care/recovery plan the opportunity to learn the mindful practices of yoga. YTC is one of the programs that allows us to fulfill our mission to share the power of yoga for healing and self-care!
