There's still time to join the PTA before our first general meeting! While everyone is welcome to join our general meetings to learn about what the PTA has planned throughout the year, only members are allowed to vote on PTA business. 



By getting involved at your child's school you'll be part of the solution, helping to make positive changes. Local PTAs play an important role in fundraising to provide building improvements, curriculum-based programs, social events - all vital to a school's (and students') success.

A Taste of Our Community - International Potluck

Tuesday, September 30 5:00-6:30 pm



Ready to turn up the flavor? Join us for the Taylor International Potluck! It's a fantastic chance to celebrate our diverse community, connect with other families, and take your taste buds on a trip around the world.



Whether you're a master chef or just have a family favorite to share, we want you there. Bring a dish that represents your culture or a recipe you love, and be part of an evening filled with unique flavors and great company. Prepare your dish in small, sample-sized portions so everyone can enjoy a taste of each incredible creation!



The fun happens on Tuesday, September 30th, starting at 5:00 p.m., including special guest performances from a few Mills High School cultural clubs!



Even if you can't bring a dish, just come and enjoy the evening—your presence will make the event special. To help us get a headcount and plan the delicious spread, please sign up below to let us know if you'll be bringing a dish and what it will be.

Peninsula Math Circle

Peninsula Math Circle is a new course that Connor Leong (a junior at BHS and one of only 30 students nationwide to qualify for the USA International Math Olympiad Team Selection Group) and Kevin Chu (a parent coach of Burlingame’s math team) are offering through Burlingame Parks & Recreation this fall. 



The course is intended for 7th-9th graders (though 10th graders who are just getting into competition math are welcome). The fall sessions will be focused on math competition topics that are common on middle school competitions (AMC 8, MATHCOUNTS) and high school competitions (AMC 10/12). The sessions are appropriate for any student who wants to improve their problem-solving skills and are enthusiastic about learning math beyond what’s taught in school (for instance, number theory, combinatorics, advanced algebra, and advanced geometry).

Dates: Saturdays from 9/6 through 10/25
Time: 2:00-3:30pm
Location: Burlingame Community Center
