Farmers in Mount Cameroon Area Receive Organic Fertilizer to Boost Yields, Conserve Species

Farmers from the Bwitingi, Bwiteva, and Bokova communities in the Mount Cameroon area have received organic liquid fertilizer and hands-on training to enhance sustainable agriculture and promote the conservation of endangered species within Mount Cameroon National Park. The distribution event, held at the Bwitingi Community Hall, marked the latest milestone in an ongoing initiative led by Voice of Nature (VoNat) in partnership with the Regenerative Agriculture Hub of Nkwa4Change Solutions. VoNat Welcomes Two Students to Youth Mentorship and Volunteering Programme

Two students from the University of Buea have joined Voice of Nature (VoNat) under its Volunteering and Youth Mentorship Programme, marking a new step in their academic and professional journeys in conservation and environmental advocacy.The interns, Ngala Eugene, an undergraduate student in Journalism and Mass Communication, and Njumbe Frankline, a Master’s student in Natural Resources and Environmental Management, will be engaged for a period of 1 to 3 months, gaining hands-on experience in environmental communication, species conservation, and landscape restoration, among other areas.  Read More
