dear friend,

Valdoria here. 👋

I'm afraid I'm cutting it a little close with the June announcements, but I hadn't anticipated getting featured by the Writer's Round. If you're free on Wednesday (tomorrow night!), stop on by Arbor Beer Lodge, especially if you're also a singer-songwriter! Put your name in the hat, share your music, and support your fellow local creatives.

I'm also looking forward to playing another Washougal Song Circle this month, as well as their festival in August! Christopher and Stephanie Corbell, of Raven Fables, do much to nurture the musical community out in Washougal.

At the end of this month, I'm particularly jazzed to be taking over the Covert Café on Friday night, with the warm and engaging Avian Green, the haunting and melancholic Pythias Braswell, and epitome-of-cool Robb Westlund. It'll be a pretty well-rounded night, with me bringing the sultry existential angst contingent.

Now that the announcements are made, I'll leave with you with this: I can't believe the year is nearly halfway through already. Please enjoy this bass rendition of "Revolving Door," my reflection on the changing of the seasons.

Thank you for reading!

Be well & hope to see you, soon!
