A couple weeks ago, all Neighbourhood Houses in B.C. celebrated Neighbourhood House Week, and our three Houses were packed full of members and new neighbours at the open houses! Thank you to all those who were able to attend.

Would you like learn to use email, create files and documents, use excel, search the Internet or practice typing and writing skills on a computer? Volunteer Computer Instructors are available to help community residents with their computer learning needs. We offer support in multiple languages.

Drop in to this in-person program at the North House, South House or Brentwood. No registration required.

Minds in Motion®

Minds in Motion® is a fitness and social program for people living with any form of early-stage dementia to attend with a family member, friend or other care partner. This program runs for 8 Fridays starting on April 25 and ends on June 13, 2025. See poster for more details.

The program is available in Cantonese. The registration fee is $40 (for 8 sessions, for both articipants ( one person living with dementia and one care partner)). Start at any time, prices are pro-rated.

Grocery Support for Seniors in Burnaby



Are you or someone you know older adults 55+ in Burnaby who finds grocery shopping a challenge?

Our Grocery Shopping & Delivery Program is here to help! We provide food hampers, prepared meals, and grocery shopping & free delivery to seniors who are living with health challenges and are experiencing food insecurity. Once a week, we’ll call to take their shopping list and place the order online—Superstore will handle the shopping and delivery straight to their door.
