In a week when we learned an Alaskan woman purchased frozen turkeys and dropped them from her plane for her off-the-grid neighbors, when scientists announced the discovery of two sets of footprints dating back 1.5 million years made by two different species of human ancestors were found at the same spot, when other scientists discovered menadione, a precursor to vitamin K, might help kill prostate cancer cells, when a joint Egyptian-German team of archaeologists have announced a gateway to an ancient Greek temple along the Nile, and when the oldest known alphabet was unearthed in Syria, predating all others by 500 years, we're still talking board games here at Meeple Mountain.
