Greetings!

In a week where Cornell researchers have announced they've created a plastic that is both durable and recyclable, where beavers solved a problem about where and how to build a dam in Chechoslovak by building it themselves in exactly where it was needed, where a heart pump no bigger than a fountain pen was by the FDA for use in children, where researchers reported playing classical music to babies in utero created more stable and predictable fetal heart rate patterns, where an elephant named Rose-Tu gave birth to a 200-pound calf at the Oregon zoo, we're still talking board games here at Meeple Mountain.

Come Write For Us!

Have you ever read our reviews or articles and thought, "That looks like fun, I'd love to be a part of it."? You might not know this but we're always looking for new contributors! If you have an interesting or unique take about board games we want to hear about it: be it written or in video form! Remember that board gaming is a hobby for everyone, regardless of ability level, race, body type, gender, or sexual orientation, and our goal is for our authors to represent that diversity. Thanks for your interest in writing for Meeple Mountain and we hope that you can join our team!

This Week's Puzzle

Last week I asked you to unscramble two games from a jumble of letters. We had a great response from reader Adam Sequoyah with all the correct answers, as well as some extra guesses for one of the jumbles. I'm including some of them here for your enjoyment as well. (Thanks, Adam!)

kpaluzsar = Azul & PARKS

raaotncto = Root & CATAN

sraaccnkl = Clank & Arcs

iextinudd = Dixit & Dune

beisstras = Brass & SETI

tgeajkhen = Jenga & Khet

ltfefpige = Fleet & GIPF

heesetarc from Adam Sequoyah

SCARETHEE -- If I'm a stalker, this is what I do.
CATSHEERE
-- Or maybe I'm scarier when I'm a cat. And I bring all my cat friends. Watch out now...! The cats are all heeeeeere..........
CHEESERAT
-- CHEESE ART? Well, that's made by a posh CHEESE RAT.

ERASECHET -- Poor Chet.
EASTERCHE
-- I'm not sure Che Guevara celebrated Easter?

CASETHERE -- I can see your point with that there case you presented. You make a good, justifiable argument there.
CHEEREATS
-- This is what we have to do for our very little ones, isn't it? Cheer them on for every bite they take....
TEASECHER
-- Come on, man. Leave Cher alone. She doesn't like being made fun of.

ETCHESARE -- Indeed. They ARE. I mean, have you seen Etch-A-Sketch art? It's so sublime. It IS.

CREATESHE -- What Dr. Frankenstein did, to his monster's bride-to-be.
THESECARE
-- All of these. They really care. A lot.
STEEREACH
-- Make sure you drive every one of those cars, Daveumpkilis. An' don't come back until yer done!
HATECERES
-- I mean, who actually LIKES Ceres?

Just kidding. Ceres is actually a recent game. And HATE is almost recent (2019). But -- while I didn't know about either of these games, I do know about Heat. So my guess for this one is:
Heat / Ceres
