Greetings

In a week where a handwritten draft of Bob Dylan's lyrics for Mr. Tambourine Man sold for over half a million dollars, where jewels, crowns and a scepter belonging to royal members of the old Poland-Lithuania commonwealth were found behind loose stones under a cathedral in Vilnius, where a high school in East London has seen student test scores increase dramatically after convincing students to give up all social media for two months, where we learned the National Archives is seeking “citizen archivists” who can read cursive to transcribe archival documents ranging from Revolutionary War records to 19th-century immigration papers, and where scientists found a fossil of an extinct cat species that was so small it could fit in the palm of your hand, we're still talking board games here on Meeple Mountain.

A quick note from the editor: as you might be aware, some of the major social media applications have seen an exodus of users due to their frustrations with those platforms. BlueSky in particular is a dynamic and rapidly growing alternative to Twitter. If you're on Blue Sky we’d like to invite you to follow us there.
