Her Land - outdoor activities for women & girls on a farm just outside Thame

Together with women and girls, Her Land (a new social enterprise based on Manor Farm, just outside Thame) plans to slowly and sensitively restore and repair a derelict, heritage-rich farm in Oxfordshire, Weston Farm, by learning about and using regenerative agriculture and building practices, such as permaculture, agroforestry and the Living Building Challenge. The project plans to create a biodiverse, accessible landscape with educational and event spaces inside unique heritage buildings, a hub with café, an edible food forest, growing plots, play areas, and more. The aim is to become a unique regenerative development where women and girls gain the skills to heal both themselves and the land, for a healthier, regenerative world for all.

November 2024 saw the launch of activity on Her Land, with a partnership project with 21st Century Thame that delivers weekly sessions on the site. These continue into 2025 running every Tuesday morning from 9.30am - 11.30am. There are also monthly Sunday sessions that take place from 2pm-4pm on the 4th Sunday of each month. Activities planned before March include tree planting and learning about/ planting a food forest.

To take part visit https://www.herland.co.uk/get-...and complete the application form. You can then attend any of the sessions as you can manage.
