EcoKids Gather Climate Impacts Info for Advocacy Campaign in Douala

Climate change continues to destabilize lives and livelihoods in Cameroon, with children bearing the greatest brunt. A lot of these climate impacts remain unreported or under-reported. to Limit Climate Impact

A group of kids and youths taking part in the Voice of Nature (VoNat) and Meg Wah (My Earth)’s EcoKids Programme in Douala-Cameroon, were recently engaged in a community-wide education & sensitization to help communities better adapt their lives and livelihoods to climate change and its impacts. Using a talk-show and micro-radio programme, the youngsters raised fresh consciousness on floods management, waste management, mangroves conservation and climate smart agriculture amongst others. Read More
