| NW Vecova Location to Close Main Facility in 2025
|
|
It is deeply saddening news that Vecova has announced the closure of their beloved fitness and aquatics facility by June 2025. For many, this space has been a cornerstone of belonging, inclusion, and growth, particularly for those benefiting from its adaptive programs. Built in 1969, the 33rd Street N.W. facility has reached the end of its life cycle, requiring costly repairs and 30% of the building is already closed due to poor condition. The Northwest location's aquatics and fitness programming is set to continue until end of June next year, while the bottle depot will cease operations next fall. Read the full article here. |
