              FROM PARTNERS

              PUBLICATION

During New York Climate Week, ICSI launched its position paper, Understanding the Landscape of Global Engineering Capacity and Capability, at a panel on the future of the global engineering workforce. Led by Savina Carluccio, the discussion addressed the urgent shortage of engineering talent for sustainable infrastructure. Panelists emphasized the need for hands-on, systems-thinking in engineering education and called for collaboration to close the skills gap. ICSI's paper outlines six recommendations to align engineering capacity with the UN Sustainable Development Goals, backed by the Berger Charitable Foundation, Bentley Systems, and the Global Covenant of Mayors.
