| Singing Day: Come & Sing Mendelssohn's Elijah |

Ross Choral Society is excited to announce a Come and Sing event at St Mary's, Church. We will be rehearsing and performing many of the choruses from Mendelssohn's glorious work, 'Elijah'. We are keen for you to join us for this event, and possibly the Choral Society too as we will be performing the whole work in May 2025.

Come as a team (up to 4 people), or as an individual and we can put you in a convivial team on the night! No entry fee, though on the night all are invited to donate £5 for Christian Aid. Puddings at half time! Please bring a pudding to share if you can (if not come without). Pay bar available, profits to Christian Aid. Bar open from 6.45pm.
The Quiz will include questions both easy and tricky! Something for everyone. Two rounds of questions, with pudding available at half time. There will be a winners prize of course!

| Concert: The Carducci Quartet |

Carducci and Hereford Cathedral School in Concert – Music in Quiet Places (Herefordshire Historic Churches Trust) brings the return of the Carducci Quartet in collaboration with musicians from Hereford Cathedral School in an exciting and eclectic selection of music.
We are most grateful to HHCT for a recent grant of £5000 for the enlargement and improvement of the nave platform in St Mary's. |

The Gwent Chamber Orchestra are great friends of St Mary's and createROSS and they return once more for this popular Sunday afternoon concert. Like last year, this will feature tea (or coffee) and homemade cake in the interval. The ticket price includes the feast! |

Many have enjoyed these illustrated talks before. Heather selects a number of Ross worthies with a final resting place in our churchyard and after an illustrated talk on their lives, achievements and links to the town today we wander out into the churchyard to explore. All of this happens over a glass or two of wine. |

| Concert: Octavo - A Summer Evening of Song |

Octavo was formed in 2013. A bunch of like-minded souls, whose paths had crossed over a number of years in London, Gloucestershire and Herefordshire vocal circles, decided that they needed an outlet for their enthusiasm that comprised smaller forces.
This concert will feature music for summer in a variety of styles.
