It brings together Deans, Heads of Department and Directors of Education from all over Europe to meet and to discuss, in depth, common issues in higher engineering education.

| Call for Organisers – Host the 2025 SEFI Deans Convention |
|
SEFI organises annual meetings for deans, directors, and department heads. These meetings specifically target faculty leaders and address various topics related to their high-level roles at their respective universities. Additionally, they provide a valuable networking opportunity that can enhance the visibility of your institution. Our Deans Conventions are organized in spring and typically welcome around 80 high-level participants.
The Letter of Intent should be signed by the rector or president of the submitting institution and sent to the SEFI office by 1 May 2024. For further information, you may contact the SEFI HQ, which will share the ECED Terms of Reference.

| The PTEE 2022 conference in Tampere, Finland, brought together physics educators for two and a half days of insightful discussions and social events. Participants enjoyed Finnish hospitality and elected a new chair for the Physics SIG, with the next conference scheduled for May 2024 in Rosenheim, Germany. |

The 21st SEFI MSIG Seminar on Mathematics in Engineering Education was hosted by Tampere University of Applied Sciences from June 11th to 14th, 2023. With a focus on mathematical competencies in didactical research and fostering collaboration between researchers and practitioners, the seminar emphasized the pivotal role of mathematics as a tool for future engineers. |
