Upcoming events and information at the Burnaby Neighbourhod House

BNH continues to be busy throughout April and May! Our community garden volunteers are starting tp plant root vegetables and harvest chives and spinach, Seniors gathered together at the weekly Memory Club, kitchen volunteers were having fun cooking for the Friday lunches, and the kids at Friendship Club enjoyed the sun while eating fun snacks!

Holistic Stretching & Meditation Exercise

We are excited to announce this new class exploring holistic stretching and meditation techniques that combines motion and inaction to cultivate both the interior and exterior of the body. Much like Qi Gong, in this practice you will learn a set of exercises known for rejuvenating and energizing.

Our EAL classes are for people who would like to learn/improve their English skills. These classes are a fun way to practice conversation, make new friends, and try learning! These volunteer-led EAL classes are available throughout the year for beginner to intermediate level students.
