Good Day fellow Warrant Officers,
I want to share how wonderful and helpful our CWOA professional staff is and in particular Mrs. Aniela Szymanski. Her professionalism, knowledge and expertise in law and the Veteran Administration (VA) disability is second to none. She spent a great amount of time with my wife and I this past week helping us to prepare for exiting the Coast Guard and how to be well-represented and prepared for our VA appointments for disability.
There was so much I didn't learn in TAPS class that she made clear for us. She helped us understand how the process will work and what entitlements we could be expecting. Best of all spent time helping make sure we understood everything ahead of us.
I highly recommend anyone separating from the service to set an appointment up with her to be better prepared for the future. She was honest and approachable. She made my wife and I feel very welcomed. She made us feel like we were an extended part of her family and was looking out for our best interests.
I want to give a BIG SHOUT thanking Ms. Aniela Szymanski for the super advice and help this past week preparing my wife and I for life after the Coast Guard.
