Darryl Barwick Update
Darryl Barwick is scheduled for execution this Wednesday at 6:00 p.m. Darryl Barwick filed a brief to the Florida Supreme Court where he has raised concerns about the accelerated legal timetable due to the warrant period being exactly 30 days. On Friday, the Florida Supreme Court issued a unanimous decision denying his claims. He still has to file a petition to the US Supreme Court. |

| Prayer vigils and masses
Several churches in the diocese of St Augustine are organizing prayer vigils or masses for the execution of Darryl Barwick. We are not a religious organization but we will support any efforts against the executions and the death penalty. If you cannot make it to the vigil at the prison, those could be a good alternative. |
