| Says Eric about Chai Pani in Asheville, NC: "Chai Pani literally means "tea and water." It's slang in India for going out for a cup of tea, a tasty bite, a snack, or 'a little something.' This place nestled in eclectic and artsy downtown Asheville has much more to offer than 'tea and water' or 'a little something.' Excellent and innovative Indian dishes send mouthwatering aromas out the door and into the long line you'll be standing in anytime within an hour of lunch or dinner. A line that exists only to give them your cell number so you can receive a 'your table is ready' text an hour or more later. If they took reservations, and had slightly better service, Chai Pani would have received that coveted fifth star."
