Paul Green is co-founder of Avant-Gardening, a collaborative arts engagement project with a particular interest in collaboration, place, community and green spaces. Prior to venturing into the freelance world he worked as Arts Development Officer at Lambeth Council, as Public Progammes Producer at the Hayward Gallery and in various capacities at Film London, Camden Arts Centre and many a record shop.
Outside of the core Avant-Gardening programme Paul has curated a number of film programmes which have been screened at the likes of Latitude Festival, BFI, MK Gallery and the Floating Cinema. He is currently working on a creative archive of LGBTQ+ stories for a new project, Bijou Stories www.bijoustories.com which builds on previous LGBTQ+ arts projects like The Walk of Shame at Tate Britain and the 'light entertainment/exorcism' of The Shame Show.
He loves genre and exploitation films, art, cats, the American south-west, unpopular culture, music, cinema and blue skies.
