| How are you doing today?
Did you read our mail last week? There were a number of valuable nuggets shared about how to care for yourself as a teacher amid the ups and downs of every day teaching.
Please spare a few minutes to check it out if you missed it.
We're back today with another interesting, but rather important topic.
You would agree that periodic checks are important to let you know "if you are doing well".
Let's agree that what I'm going to share with you in a few sentences is one of those checks. Shall we begin?
Here we will discuss the habits that every teacher should take on, especially when it comes to their students' academic development.
Some habits of highly effective teachers are:
1.Maintain a good relationship with parents/guardians of their students, this will help them to foster their growth and gain a support system for monitoring their progress.
2. Create a dynamic learning environment, which can sometimes include a question-and-answer session.
3. Teachers are patient with each student's learning style.
4. Plan and prepare judiciously before any interaction with Students, whether virtually or through physical contact.
5. Know all learning strengths and excesses of Students, this will help increase the student's productivity Level.
In your opinion, which of these habits best describes you? |

We all know that busy schedules aren't an excuse to not be present for a child.
It can be challenging, we know. But, here's a quick reminder.
A major responsibility we have towards our children is to ensure they are properly educated.
It is unlikely that a school can reach every student, or even that a teacher can reach every student, but tutors provide extra time and care that can make a difference.
With either group online lessons or private home tutoring, we have trained tutors from the best schools in Nigeria to create the perfect learning environment for your child.

Till next time, Bukola. |
