Tompkins County has engaged the community in the process of "re-imagining public safety" in response to Governor Cuomo's Executive Order on policing reform. This initiative includes mental health crisis response and engagement of law enforcement in that response. The community is invited to provide comments/input via Zoom during several community comment forums on Friday afternoons at 4:30 PM from now through December 4th, excluding November 27th. Comments will be collected and shared with those who are working on the plan.
