Hi again!
You promised yourself things would be different. Looking back, it’s exactly the same. I know. I’ve done it too.
Same friction. Same frustrations. The same low hum that something has to change. You keep turning it down. I know. I've done that too.
Underneath the mess sits two quieter questions: Why can’t I just do this? Do I actually want to?
Here’s what I see in a lot of people. They aren’t short of ideas or willpower. They’re quietly asking for two things at once: for life to get better, and for it not to feel uncomfortable.
The excuses we make are how we protect that comfort. They sound reasonable, which is why they work so well.
Here’s a question to sit with this week: What am I really looking for? Comfort or change? Are they the same thing for me?
If this resonated, my coaching might be for you, but it is not for everyone. If you want someone to tell you everything’s fine when it isn’t, or that nothing needs to change when it does, I’m not your person. If you’re committed to changing something and prepared to do the uncomfortable work, I am.
Tell me what’s on your mind.
Wishing you happy success,
Steve.
