The Operating Room Global Institutional Review Board (TORG-IRB) welcomes rolling submissions for ethical review of health research involving human participants.

Our role goes beyond ethical approval. TORG-IRB supports responsible research through participant protection, research integrity, accountability, and ethical governance beyond approval and publication.

Submissions are open on a rolling basis, submit anytime.

We are pleased to introduce The Operating Room Global Institutional Review Board (TORG-IRB), an independent, multidisciplinary ethics committee committed to advancing ethical governance, research integrity, and the protection of research participants across the global health community.

Our Board comprises experienced clinicians, researchers, educators, and research ethics professionals representing Ethiopia, Sierra Leone, India, the Philippines, Hong Kong, Saudi Arabia, Bulgaria, USA, Uganda, and the United Arab Emirates, reflecting TORG's commitment to international collaboration and excellence in ethical oversight.

Registered with the U.S. Office for Human Research Protections (OHRP) (𝐅𝐖𝐀𝟎𝟎𝟎𝟑𝟓𝟓𝟏𝟎 | 𝐈𝐎𝐑𝐆𝟎𝟎𝟏𝟐𝟒𝟔𝟔 | 𝐈𝐑𝐁𝟎𝟎𝟎𝟏𝟒𝟕𝟒𝟐), the TORG-IRB provides independent, transparent, and timely ethical review of research in accordance with internationally recognised standards, including the Declaration of Helsinki, CIOMS International Ethical Guidelines, and ICH Good Clinical Practice (GCP).

As The Operating Room Global continues to expand its research, education, and innovation initiatives, the TORG-IRB will play a pivotal role in strengthening research governance, supporting high-quality multinational studies, and promoting responsible research across surgery, anaesthesia, perioperative care, and the wider health sciences.
