Last Call for Directory Ads

If you own a business or know a local business that would like to advertise in our 2026-2027 Mu Mu Directory, the deadline is July 15th. You also don’t have to have a business. Last year, several sisters did tribute ads honoring an AXO woman or event. (We are still seeking two tribute sponsors).

Full page ads are $45. Half page ads are $30. Design help is available. As an added benefit, AXO businesses are given great exposure on the Mu Mu website under ‘Sisters Shopping Sisters,’ our own network of Real, Strong Women.

Please contact Sheri Baldwin at [email protected] for more information.

Sponsor an Alumna Initiate Candidate

Do you know an outstanding woman whom you think would make a great Alpha Chi Omega? Women we’ve welcomed through this program have included our friends, family members, coworkers, campus professionals and other women who have made a difference in their communities, in their professions and in the lives of others. Alpha Chi Omega shapes the future through the powerful, transformative and everlasting connections of real, strong women. The National Alumna Initiate Program (NAIP) extends our membership experience to real, strong women in our communities who identify with the mission and values of Alpha Chi and care about our philanthropic initiatives, who did not have the opportunity to join Alpha Chi Omega as a collegiate member. Please let us know if you have a friend, family or neighbor that you think would make a great Alpha Chi Omega.

Contact Bev Nichols at [email protected] for more information.

Sister Spotlight

Gretchen Brandt

Gamma Zeta (Kansas State University) ’64

Gretchen Brandt asks, “Is your front yard ready for the first World Cup matches ever in Kansas City?”

Hers is. She is celebrating World Cup fever with 48 flags arranged in her front lawn. It was admittedly different witnessing the House of Mahomes become the House of Messi, who scored his first career World Cup hat trick at Arrowhead, er, Kansas City Stadium. Argentina's 3-0 World Cup win was against Algeria.

Lunch Bunch Recap

Strang Hall was our destination on June 2 as a group of eight enjoyed a Food Hall experience with foods ranging from yellow curry to cheeseburgers to drunken doughnuts.

We signed a get well card for our missing Marjorie Frauenfelder, who is recuperating from a broken hip.
