Upcoming Events

AGM POSTPONED from August 11th until
August 25th

Our Annual General Meeting is postponed until Tuesday August 25th due to holday clashes. More information on our website.

The meeting will be followed by a social networking event and discussion about future shows and events, including our project in association with Woodmansterne Primary School to stage rehearsed readings of Roald Dahl's Revolting Rhymes for the pupils in September.

There will be a cash/card bar and free nibbles. New members welcome – come along and meet us and find out what we do!

NOTICE is hereby given that the Annual General Meeting of Streatham Theatre Company will be held at 7.30 pm on Tuesday 25 August 2026 at Vinters Studio 2, 1b Sunnyhill Road, SW16 2UG.

All paid-up voting Members are entitled to attend, stand for office, and vote. Others may attend but are not entitled to vote – they may speak at the discretion of the Chairman. You can join or renew online prior to the meeting. Please contact [email protected] for any membership enquiries.

Twelfth Night Outdoors at the Rookery - Tickets Now on Sale!

This production of William Shakespeare's Twelfth Night, suitable for older children and directed by Lizzie Hartree & Robin Bracken-Kemish, will be performed outdoors in the Rookery gardens, from the 21st to the 23rd of August. Rehearsals are going very well. Click here to purchase tickets.

Friday August 21st, 6.00 pm to 8 pm

Saturday August 22nd, 1.30 pm to 3.30 pm and 6 pm to 8 pm

Sunday August 23rd, 2.30 pm to 4.30 pm

Please note the earlier than usual start times, as we are taking advantage of the natural light. Doors and bar open 30 minutes earlier.

Seating is on the grass. You are welcome to bring chairs and a picnic if required.

Streatham Shorts, September 8th - Call for New Writing

Our annual workshop for new writing, Streatham Shorts, is on September 8th and we’re on the hunt for unpublished sketches, monologues and short plays. Send your submissions to [email protected]. Your deadline is the 15th of August!

Entries are already coming in!

The Next STC Writers' Group Meeting is on August 27th

Meetings of the Writers' Group are continuing and the next meeting is on Thursday August 27th. A number of participants have already shared first drafts of their writing. Anybody interested in any form of writing, come along and share your work with other budding and aspiring writers.
