| | Election season is beginning to ramp up, and while the headlines will soon be impossible to ignore, democracy isn't something that only happens on Election Day. It happens when people show up early, ask hard questions, organize their neighbors, volunteer for candidates who reflect their values, and push those in power (including candidates) to do better. Be sure to check out our upcoming postcard parties, where local candidates show up, and read this Substack article from Progressive Alliance of Henderson County leader Betsy Alger to see what can happen when people organize instead of waiting to be invited into the conversation. See below for ways to get involved and help shape the future of our community.
Other Events August 13th 5:30pm - Hendersonville Green Drinks at The Local Table. September 10th 5:30pm - Without Shade Without Rest Film Screening at St James. |

This year's banner, crowdfunded by about a dozen individuals, just recently appeared downtown. ENJOY!
