| | Election season is beginning to ramp up, and while the headlines will soon be impossible to ignore, democracy isn't something that only happens on Election Day. It happens when people show up early, ask hard questions, organize their neighbors, volunteer for candidates who reflect their values, and push those in power (including candidates) to do better. Did you know that 2026 is the 5th year PAHC has sponsored an ArtScape banner with the Henderson County Art League? We understand that civic activism has many layers and community outreach takes many forms.
This year's banner, crowdfunded by about a dozen individuals,
just recently appeared downtown.
