| | State of Caring Survey 2026 |
|
Every year, thousands of carers and former carers take part in the Carers UK annual State of Caring survey, helping to build the most comprehensive picture of unpaid carers' lives in Scotland and across the UK. The results help provide valuable information to help develop services and to build the case for better support for carers.
This year's survey is open until Sunday 9th August. |

| | We're delighted to continue our partnership with Stirling Albion FC through the Respitality programme.
Stirling Albion have generously donated 4 tickets for every home match throughout the upcoming season, giving unpaid carers the opportunity to take a well deserved break, enjoy some live football, and spend time doing something for themselves.
A sincere thank you to everyone at Stirling Albion for their continued support of unpaid carers in our community. |

|
| | The Time to Live fund provides grants of up to £300 to help carers take a break in a way that suits them. This could be a short break away, equipment, club membership, or something else to help you recharge.
Grants are available for carers living in the Stirling Council area who have not received a grant in the last 18 months. Clackmannanshire carers should contact Falkirk & Clackmannanshire Carers Centre for short breaks grants. |

| | Missed & Cancelled Appointments |
|
We understand that caring situations can change unexpectedly, and sometimes last-minute cancellations are unavoidable. However, over the past six months we have seen a significant increase in appointments being missed or cancelled at short notice.
If you are unable to attend an appointment, please let us know as soon as possible. Where we have enough notice, we can offer the appointment to another carer who may be waiting for support.
We are charged for counselling and complementary therapy appointments whether they are attended or not. By letting us know if you cannot attend, you help us make the best use of these valuable services and ensure that as many carers as possible can benefit from the support available.
Thanks for your help. |
