Many hands make light work! God sent a team to help advance some of the boat projects...
| | One of the most amazing things happened this past week… |

We experienced the hands and feet of Jesus in a way that is hard to put into words.
A team of 9 traveled from Alabama to Florida to help move Doulos one step closer to getting back in the water. But what they brought with them was so much more than tools and helping hands. |
|
Back in February, Cave Spring Church joined arms with us as a ministry partner to encourage and support as we continue following where God leads. What started with a church saying, “We believe in what God is doing,” has grown into something much deeper. |
|
After our visit with the church, relationships began forming. This past week a team from that body showed up... those relationships grew even stronger as we worked, sweated, prayed, and laughed together as brothers and sisters in Christ. |

| | One of the sweetest moments happened before the boat work even began. |

| | A small group from Cave Spring prepared large gift bags for each of our girls. Seeing their faces light up as they received them was priceless. More than the gifts themselves, it was the message behind them... “You are loved. You are valued. You are part of this story.”
We loved watching our girls feel so seen and cared for. It was such a beautiful picture of the heart behind this partnership. |

Projects that would have taken the five of us many weeks to complete were finished in just two days. The team helped us sand bottom paint, refurbish and inspect our anchor system, mark our chain for depth, inspect and restore our deck stanchions, and begin transforming the workbench area into a new sleeping space for Jessi. |

| | We have decided that nothing bonds a group quite like spending a few hot Florida summer days together...especially while covered in boat dust and sweat. 😂
Some brave souls suited up in full PPE, ready to tackle the sanding. In the middle of the heat, wrapped from head to toe, they willingly held a sander above their heads while the rest of us wondered if they were still smiling under all those layers. |

| | Not so glamourous, but there's something special about serving alongside people who are willing to say, “Where can we help?”, even when that means sweating, sanding, and getting dirty.
Each project mattered...small and large, but... |

...the encouragement and fellowship were just what we needed! |

| | The greatest gift wasn’t just the work accomplished, it was the time we shared together. The meaningful conversations, encouragement, laughter, and deepening friendships were gifts we will treasure. |

| | Being recipients of the way the body of Christ shows up was such a humbling experience. Knowing that this team sacrificed their time, resources, and comfort to come alongside us and support what God is doing was truly overwhelming. Just WOW! |

| | God provides exactly what we need, exactly when we need it. |
|
This week was about so much more than boat projects. God does the building through His people, each one offering what God has given them for His purposes and His glory.
Some people serve by coming alongside with their hands. Some serve through prayer. Some serve through giving. Some serve through encouragement from afar.
