| | National EMS Week Community Training Event Sells Out |
As part of National EMS Week, MREMS kicked off the celebration by offering a free community first aid training focused on simple, critical, lifesaving actions anyone can take in the moments before EMS arrives. |
| |
| |
| | The event was a tremendous success, with both scheduled classes selling out and 50 community members participating in hands-on training covering CPR, stroke recognition, and bleeding control. These free community education programs help prepare residents to respond confidently during medical emergencies before first responders arrive.
Thank you to everyone who participated and helped make the event such a success.

| | Celebrating Middlebury College Graduate Jasper Pearcy-Kahn |
Congratulations to MREMS member Jasper Pearcy-Kahn on graduating from Middlebury College! Jasper has proudly served our community as both an EMT and newly certified AEMT. |
| |
| |
| | Jasper joined Middlebury Regional EMS in November 2023 after earning his EMT certification following his freshman year. Since then, he has responded to 371 calls while serving both the College and greater Middlebury community. A Chemistry major from Denver, Colorado, Jasper became known throughout MREMS for his professionalism, dedication, and positive attitude. Reflecting on his experience, Jasper shared that his favorite part of MREMS was the opportunity to connect with the wider community and build strong relationships with coworkers. Jasper plans to take some time off before eventually pursuing medical school.
We thank Jasper for his service to our patients, our organization, and our community, and wish him the very best in what comes next.
