| | ☕ Just Brew It – April Dates |
|
Let’s kick things off with something we all know and love, our Just Brew It coffee shop! This job training program is run and managed by our incredible clients at Agape Village, and we are so proud of the work they do. Our coffee shop is 100% donation-based and open Tuesdays and Fridays from 9:30–11:30 AM at Valencia Town Center, located on the patios behind Solita Tacos & Margaritas and The Stand. April Coffee Dates: - Tuesday, April 7 - Friday, April 10 - Tuesday, April 14 - Friday, April 17 - Tuesday, April 21 Mark the Calendar! Stop by and enjoy coffee, espresso, lattes, hot tea, lemonade, iced tea, and some delicious treats like coffee cake and breakfast casserole! |

| | 💙 Autism Acceptance Month |

April is Autism Acceptance Month, with World Autism Awareness Day recognized on April 2nd. This month is all about spreading awareness, fostering acceptance, and celebrating the unique gifts and perspectives of individuals on the autism spectrum. It’s a time to remind our community that inclusion matters and that everyone deserves to be seen, supported, and celebrated. |

| | Valencia Hills Easter Carnival |

Join us for a fun and family-friendly outing at the Easter Carnival hosted by Valencia Hills Community Church at Central Park! 🗓 Saturday, April 4 | 11:00 AM – 2:00 PM Agape will be there alongside friends, enjoying all the festivities! This event includes: - A designated Easter egg hunt for individuals with special needs - A sensory/quiet tent - Jump houses and more

| | ☕👮 Coffee with a Cop at Agape |
|
We are honored to be hosting this month’s Coffee with a Cop at Agape Village on Tuesday, April 14th! We’re excited to welcome the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department (SCV Sheriff’s Department) for a morning of connection, conversation, and community. Come by, ask questions, and enjoy time together—we would love to see you there! |

| | We are beyond excited to share that Agape Village now has four new Kia Carnival vans! These will be a huge blessing to our program as we continue to grow. They’ll help us safely transport our clients to: Volunteer outings Weekly workouts Community adventures Coffee shop supply runs And so much more We are so grateful and excited for all the opportunities this brings! |

| | March was such a fun and meaningful month at Agape! We celebrated St. Patrick's Day with games and fun (and yes, our staff got pied in the face by our amazing clients!). We also hosted a fundraiser at The Stand—thank you to everyone who came out and supported us! Our classes through College of the Canyons are going great, including art, yoga, and health & wellness. We also celebrated World Down Syndrome Day by rocking blue and yellow and raising awareness for our friends with that extra special chromosome. It was a beautiful month, and we’re so excited for what’s ahead in April!! |

| | Agape is currently at Spring Camp! Each year, we spend a few days away together at a retreat center, stepping out of our daily routine to focus on connection, fun, and growth. Camp is filled with: Team-building activities Games and outdoor fun Worship and music Meaningful time together, and of course...a bonfire & s'mores! As we enter Holy Week, our focus is on Easter and the joy it brings. It’s such a special time to pause, reflect, and simply enjoy being together. We are wishing all of you a very Happy Easter with your families and loved ones! |
