Upon the news of the US/Israel attack on Iran, Canada’s Mark Carney limply opined: “Canada reaffirms Israel’s right to defend itself and to ensure the security of its people. Canada supports the United States acting to prevent Iran from obtaining a nuclear weapon, and to prevent its regime from further threatening international peace and security.”
That’s nonsensical political drivel, devoid of any factual substance!
1.) Iran has been controlled and hounded by the U.S. since 1953, when the CIA & MI6 engineered a coup that overthrew the democratically elected government of Prime Minister Dr. Mossadegh, and installed a dictator (the Shah) instead.
2.) In 1979, the Shah was overthrown in a nation-wide revolt. A US-instigated
and supported invasion by Iraq in 1980 led to an 8-year war with over 500,000 Iranian deaths.
3.) In 2015, Iran signed a treaty with the U.S. and European countries that prohibited the development of nuclear weapons, guaranteed full inspections
of Iran's nuclear sites, and promised the removal of economic sanctions.
Europe & Iran carried out their obligations, but the U.S. welched on the deal
and never completed the sanctions removal.
4.) With the perceived nuclear threat gone, and the European sanctions lifted, Iran’s economy began to recover, and people’s lives improved.
But NetanYahoo hated this agreement. That's why Trump tore it up in 2018 and severely tightened the sanctions.
5.) Iran's current regime is repressive – but so are many other countries, and foremost among them is Israel!
With its inhumane apartheid system and brutal oppression of Palestinians, its murderous ethnic cleansing scheme and the UN-documented Gaza genocide, Israel wins “top honours” as the world’s most repressive state – by far,
making even North Korea almost look like Paradise in comparison.
6.) Although painted by the media for decades as promoting terrorism and developing an atomic bomb, Iran never built a nuclear weapon or aided terrorists. According to the UN Charter, the alleged "terrorists" (groups like Hamas & Hisbollah) are legitimate organizations with the right to armed resistance against Israeli aggression and oppression – as confirmed by an overwhelming majority (81%)
of UN member nations.
7.) Iran has not attacked any country in 227 years – whereas Israel has attacked all of its neighbours, most of them multiple times. It is IRAN that had the right to defend itself against several Israeli attacks, plus an Israeli/US bombing campaign in 2025, and now in 2026 again... According to international law, all of them War Crimes.
The U.S. claim at the Security Council that these attacks are in "self-defense" – according to article 51 of the UN Charter, is a shameless lie!
8.) U.S. intelligence reports stated that Iran was unlikely to pose a threat to the United States within the next decade.
9.) Iran’s religious leader issued 2 'fatwas' against nuclear weapons, declaring them to be 'un-Islamic'. That's why Iran never built a nuclear bomb in 40 years, whereas Israel has amassed about 100, almost twice as many as North Korea. Iran proceeded with the enrichment of uranium, since this was not prohibited
by the 'fatwas' and provided leverage in negotiations for sanctions relief.
10.) In the February peace negotiations, Iran agreed to stop uranium enrichment, give up half of its stockpile, dilute the rest for regular energy use, and allow strict inspections of its facilities...
So, problem solved – and everyone could go home happily and content?
Unfortunately, this was not to be, since Israel pulled the same insidious trick as
in June 2025, when it assassinated military leaders & scientists – Mafia-style,
and started a 12-day bombing campaign in the midst of peace negotiations with Iran...
And as in September 2025, when it killed the Hamas peace envoys during negotiations in Doha (Qatar)...
And this time, 28 Feb. 2026, when Israel & the U.S. attacked while negotiating with Iran in Geneva, assassinating the top echelon of Iran's leaders, devastating the country and killing its people.
Clearly, those who ordered this have NO class, honour, ethics or conscience!
These attacks prove that Israel’s true intention was never the removal of an imaginary nuclear threat, but the obliteration of the last surviving opponent to its aspiration of achieving Middle East dominance.
