Compliance by Design: Embedding

ESOS into Everyday Practice

At Adelaide Education Group (AEG)'s Adelaide Institute of Higher Education (AIHE), Adelaide Institute of Business & Technology (AIBT), and Adelaide International School (AIS), we believe that compliance is most effective when it is embedded into everyday operations, decision-making, and the student experience, rather than treated as a standalone administrative function.

Our recent Lunch and Learn Session on Understanding the ESOS Framework for Education Providers brought together staff across our Adelaide and Melbourne campuses to strengthen practical understanding of the ESOS framework and how compliance responsibilities connect across admissions, student support, academic delivery, progression, wellbeing, and completion.

A sincere thank you to our guest speakers, Danielle Hartridge and Melanie Duncan, for sharing practical insights and real-world perspectives that highlighted how operational teams play a vital role in supporting international students and maintaining quality and integrity across the sector.

Showcasing AEG's Complete Education Pathways Across India

A wonderful opportunity for the AEG to engage with education agents and partners across India through the StudyAdelaide Agent Briefing Sessions held in Kochi, Coimbatore, New Delhi, and Mumbai this May 2026. These sessions provided valuable discussions on international education trends, student pathways, and the many opportunities available for students choosing to study in Adelaide and Australia. AEG was proud to showcase its integrated education ecosystem comprising the AIHE, AIBT, AIS, Intensive English Language Centre (IELC), and Adelaide Research Institute (ARI), which together provide comprehensive pathways from secondary education and English language preparation through to vocational education, higher education, and research.

The events also provided an excellent platform to strengthen relationships with education agents and partners who share our commitment to student success and educational excellence. Thank you to StudyAdelaide for bringing together such a collaborative and forward-looking series of events, and to all the agents and partners who joined the conversations.

AEG Strengthens Partnerships and Student Engagement Across Hong Kong

AEG continues to strengthen its presence in Hong Kong through proactive engagement with students, families, schools, and education partners. During the recent visit, our team met with education agents across the market, building strong momentum with emerging partners, particularly in the secondary school and pathway space, while long-standing partners continue to support awareness of AIS’s SACE and EAP programs.

The visit reinforced the value of maintaining a strong local presence and building direct relationships with students and parents. Over the coming months, AEG will be co-hosting webinars, visiting schools and tutorial centres, conducting information sessions, and agent training to strengthen engagement and conversion outcomes. We also see growing opportunities to support students who may benefit from alternative pathways and more supportive learning environments at our AIBT and AIHE. We look forward to sharing further updates as our partnerships and initiatives grow across Hong Kong.

Why Should You Be on Linkedin?

Your digital presence matters, especially for international students building careers, networks, and opportunities in a new country. LinkedIn is more than a job platform. It is where students can build a professional identity, showcase achievements, connect with industry professionals, and engage with the wider professional community while they study.

Do not wait until graduation to start building your network. The connections you make, the experiences you share, and the professional presence you create today can help open doors to internships, graduate roles, mentorship, and future career opportunities. At AIHE and AIBT's AEG, we encourage our students to start early, stay visible, and grow confidently.

CONFERENCE CALL FOR PAPERS

Take a Break: Finals Fuel & Chill

Brings Students Together

AIHE recently delivered a series of Academic Integrity Workshops led by Dr Raquel Ho for SP1, including a focused session on Critical AI Literacy. These workshops brought together students and staff in a practical, engaging environment aimed at strengthening ethical scholarship and reinforcing expectations around academic integrity in real-world contexts.

The Critical AI Literacy session explored how students can effectively evaluate and engage with AI-generated outputs, emphasising the importance of questioning, verifying, and critically analysing information rather than accepting it at face value. Students learned key strategies such as identifying bias, checking accuracy using reliable sources, and reflecting on the ethical and responsible use of AI. A hands-on activity allowed participants to create prompts and assess AI responses using a structured critical framework, building practical skills for both academic and professional settings.

These workshops reflect AIHE’s ongoing commitment to academic quality and student success. By combining clear guidance with applied learning, AIHE continues to foster a strong culture of integrity—ensuring it is not just a policy, but a lived practice that supports learning, research, and future professional conduct.
