| | Research Participation Opportunity |

Dear colleagues,
My name is Imogen Lazarus and I am currently undertaking a PhD research project through the Faculty of Education at the University of Melbourne. I am investigating how curriculum influences classroom practice for secondary school teachers whose methods are both Italian and English or EAL in Victoria. You do not have to be currently teaching both of these subjects - or either of them - to participate in this project.
I am seeking focus group participants for my project. Participants would be asked to partake in a two-and-a-half-hour focus group session on a Saturday or during the school holidays. For teachers from metro areas, this focus group would be face-to-face; teachers from rural or regional areas will have the option to participate online.
For those colleagues interested in participating, or who would like to know more, please read this plain language statement about the project and fill in this form.
I am very grateful for your consideration of this project - I hope it will contribute to our knowledge of how language is taught in classrooms. Kind regards, Imogen |

Wendy Adeniji, MFL consultant and author and Jill Snook, Faculty Leader of International Languages at Monmouth Comprehensive School [UK] will talk through real classroom-based examples. |
