MEETING WRAP UP
Tuesday June 9th
We had a great turnout on May 12, with 14 members in attendance. Our featured speaker, Burt McIntyre, shared reflections on his 21 years of service to the residents of Howard. His stories offered insight into both the challenges and the many rewarding moments that defined his time in public service.
Burt noted that while the role came with its share of frustrations, it was ultimately a fulfilling experience. He also joked about attending three retirement parties in recent weeks—and happily surviving them all!
In his own words, Burt’s guiding principle throughout his career was simple: Represent the citizens who elected him and work collaboratively with the Board to “get things done.”
We extend our sincere thanks to Burt for his years of dedicated service. While he will certainly be missed in local government, we are fortunate to have him continue his involvement with us as a member of our Board of Directors.
If you see Burt, be sure to congratulate him and wish him all the best in his retirement!

Meeting News
We had 18 attendees and 2 guests.
We doubled up on speakers for this meeting and hosted 2 young ladies from the Bay Port High School FFA and Pat Cichocki, who filled us in on her volunteer project at Fort Howard Apartments (Green Bay).
FFA UPDATE
Julie Reidman and Sadie Herick were presented a check for $700 which will be used for the Brown County Fair, "Special Drive" Special Drive is a program that has more experienced FFA members tutor younger students on how to care for, wash, and show pigs at the County Fair level. Julie and Sadie are very passionate about there involvement with the FFA and walked us through the steps in getting to the county level and the rewards of watching younger students grow in there love for animals.

Laundry Friends
As Don alluded to in his message above, Pat Cichocki has been an active local force with 'Laundry of Love'. Pat explained that she has realigned her volunteer efforts under the tag 'Laundry Friends'.
Laundry Friends is a community-based volunteer group providing free laundry and other services to neighborhood residents at Ft. Howard Apartments. From doing laundry to providing delicious meals to revamping the library, Pat and her volunteers put in countless hours of service to there special friends at Fort Howard Apartments.
Pat asks that we consider donations of cash, goods, and supplies to help out the less fortunate of our community.
