In this issue, we spotlight conversations and initiatives shaping the year ahead: a powerful Power Monday session on public image and trust, the 2026 Power Monday physical calendar that deepens community beyond the screen, and LYD’s Entrepreneur Growth Tracks designed to support founders from idea to impact and from structure to scale.
We also highlight LYD’s strategic services for institutions, community-led CSR platforms, and a Knowledge Corner focused on planning and goal-setting as foundations for sustainable growth.
As you read on, we invite you to reflect, reset, and step into the year with intention. This is the start of focused action, meaningful collaboration, and growth that lasts.
Welcome to LYD’s first newsletter of 2026. |

The first Power Monday of 2026 set a powerful tone for the year ahead — reminding us that in a world defined by noise, speed, and constant visibility, your public image is no longer optional.
This week’s session featured Derek Bbanga, Executive Coach & Facilitator at Public Image Africa, who challenged participants to see image not as surface-level branding, but as a strategic asset that directly influences trust, opportunity, and income.
Derek reframed public image as the total impression of credibility, authority, and clarity you project across every professional touchpoint. In today’s hyper-competitive environment — amplified by AI and content overload — being visible is not enough. What matters is being known for the right reasons.
Introducing the concept of the “Trust Advantage,” Derek illustrated how strong personal brands reduce friction, accelerate opportunity flow, and create long-term resilience. Drawing lessons from leaders such as Satya Nadella, Oprah Winfrey, and Jensen Huang, he showed how intentional image-building has driven culture change, business growth, and sustained relevance.
A central takeaway was the power of niche mastery. Participants were encouraged to stop trying to appeal to everyone and instead become deeply credible in a clearly defined space. Authority, Derek emphasized, is built through consistency, service, and clarity — not likes or followers.
He also highlighted the importance of authentic alignment: your online presence, professional conduct, and personal values must tell the same story. Integrity across platforms builds trust faster than polish alone.
As the session closed, participants reflected on immediate actions — refining online presence, narrowing focus, investing in communication, and becoming more intentional about the narratives they project.
The reminder was simple but powerful: If you don’t shape your image, someone else will.

While Power Monday is best known for its weekly virtual conversations that energize professionals and entrepreneurs every Monday morning, the community intentionally creates space each year to meet beyond the screen. These physical sessions anchor relationships, deepen connection, and translate shared values into lived experiences.
The Meet & Greet sessions — scheduled for Saturday, 28th March 2026 and Saturday, 25th July 2026 — offer members the opportunity to connect face-to-face. These gatherings are designed for networking, reflection, and relationship-building, allowing participants who regularly engage online to strengthen bonds in person and cultivate a stronger sense of belonging within the Power Monday community.
Community impact remains central to Power Monday’s mission. On Saturday, 6th June 2026, and again during Christmas with Children on Saturday, 5th December 2026, the community will visit the Precious Blood Children’s Family in Kawangware. Run by dedicated Catholic Nuns, the home supports street-reclaimed children through rehabilitation, education, mentorship, and family reunification. These visits go beyond charity — they are moments of presence, love, and empowerment, marked by mentorship, entertainment, shared meals, and meaningful interaction. They reflect the belief that giving is not measured by quantity, but by intention and compassion.
The year culminates with the Annual Power Monday Dinner on Friday, 30th October 2026 — a flagship gathering that brings together members, partners, and friends to celebrate growth, reflect on impact, and recommit to purpose. The dinner serves as both a milestone and a moment of gratitude, honoring the consistency and community that define Power Monday.
Together, these physical sessions transform Power Monday from a weekly conversation into a living, breathing community — one rooted in connection, service, and shared growth throughout 2026. |

January, a special month of grounding |
|
What have you been up to?
For me, this is a season for stock-taking and strategic review. It’s time to ask: What worked? What didn’t? What should we stop doing to make room for what’s next?
This month, I am looking beyond the spreadsheets to find the "wisdom behind the numbers," using those stories to project ahead with hope and strategy. Now is the time for goal setting and calendar planning—prioritizing the important over the urgent to ensure early, thoughtful execution.
Whether through a simple one-pager or a detailed report, now is also the moment to share your impact story with stakeholders, refine your strategy, and engage your customers for feedback.
Start connecting with partners now and get ready for the work ahead. Wishing you a productive and fruitful 2026!

Live Your Dream Enterprises (LYD) enters 2026 with a renewed focus on structured, intentional entrepreneur growth. At the core of this approach are LYD’s Entrepreneur Growth Tracks — two clear pathways designed to meet founders exactly where they are and support them through every stage of business development. |
|
Create Track — From Idea to Impact |
|
The Create Track supports aspiring founders and early-stage entrepreneurs who are moving from concept to execution. This pathway helps entrepreneurs clarify their ideas, validate business models, and lay strong foundations for launch. Participants receive practical guidance on product development, market entry, legal and regulatory compliance, financial planning, and early customer acquisition. The focus is on turning ideas into viable businesses that are grounded, compliant, and ready to grow. |
|
Build Track — From Structure to Scale |
|
For entrepreneurs already running businesses, the Build Track is designed to strengthen systems and unlock sustainable growth. This track supports MSMEs through business diagnostics, sales and marketing acceleration, e-commerce growth strategies, financial systems setup, HR and team development, and strategic planning. Entrepreneurs are also guided through capital readiness, technology adoption, and risk management — enabling businesses to scale with confidence and resilience.
Both tracks are reinforced by LYD’s wider ecosystem of support. As the first newsletter of 2026, this spotlight reflects LYD’s commitment to supporting entrepreneurs with clarity, structure, and practical tools ; whether they are just starting out or preparing to scale.

Giving back through community & connection |
|
Live Your Dream Enterprises Ltd (LYD) continues to extend its impact beyond enterprise development into meaningful corporate social responsibility (CSR) initiatives that support community connection, personal growth, and shared purpose. Two flagship platforms exemplify this commitment: Power Monday and LYD Women In Business (LWIB), each fostering connection, learning, and empowerment across diverse audiences.
Power Monday began as a simple Monday morning meet-up rooted in encouragement and growth, evolving into a vibrant weekly community gathering that energizes professionals and entrepreneurs for the week ahead. Held every Monday from 7:15 AM to 8:15 AM on Zoom, Power Monday offers free personal development sessions that explore leadership, business strategy, life skills, and career insights, guided by expert facilitators and thought leaders. Over the years, it has nurtured a dependable network of professionals, sparking connections and providing a platform for meaningful dialogue, peer support, and opportunity sharing. Beyond virtual sessions, the Power Monday community convenes quarterly meet-ups — including the annual Power Monday@5! Dinner — bringing members together for deeper engagement, reflection, and celebration.
Complementing this community engagement, LYD Women In Business (LWIB) serves as a dynamic platform for women entrepreneurs to connect, collaborate, and grow. LWIB creates spaces where female founders share experiences, access mentorship, and build meaningful networks tailored to their unique challenges and aspirations. Activities include virtual learning sessions, quarterly physical meet-ups for peer learning and networking, and opportunities to showcase services through masterclasses and exhibitions. By championing holistic well-being, collaboration, and business growth, LWIB fosters confidence, visibility, and collective progress.
Together, these CSR initiatives reflect LYD’s broader commitment to knowledge sharing, community building, and inclusive growth, helping individuals not just survive, but thrive, in their personal and professional journeys.
