- January classes: small groups (max 8) + supplies included! Knit & Spin is your local spot for needles, hooks, notions, books, bags, patterns, and a HUGE selection of yarn (20 commercial brands) at every price point! We also carry a large selection of locally-sourced products! Whether you’re mid-project or just craving a fresh start, we’re here for the whole spectrum—from “teach me from zero” to “I need one specific thing and I know exactly what it’s called.”

If you want something structured and fun to fight the winter doldrums, here are the January classes at a glance:

Blanket Finger Knitting (Saturdays 10am–2pm | $120 | max 8)

- Dates: 1/3 or 1/17 or 1/31

- Includes: 4 hours instruction + 8 skeins (226g) of #7 chunky polyester chenille (your choice of colors)

- End product: Lap Blanket

- Instructor: Kelli Gleason

Beginning Crocheting (Tuesdays 5–7pm | $60 | max 8)
- Dates: 1/6 and 1/13 and 1/20
- Includes: 6 hours instruction + 1 crochet hook + 1 skein #4 acrylic yarn (your color choice)
- Covers: chain, single crochet, half-double crochet, double crochet, etc.
- End product: Soap Bags

- Instructor: Floyd Peplinski

Hat Knitting – Intermediate (Thursdays 5–7pm | $60 | max 8)
- Dates: 1/8, 1/15, 1/22 - You must already know to: cast on, knit, purl

- Includes: 6 hours instruction + circular needles + double-pointed needles + 1 skein #7 acrylic/wool yarn (your color choice)

- Covers: ribbing, increases, decreases

- End product: Chunky Hat

- Instructor: Tina Ramthun
