| The Myth of Instant Results |
|
In recent years, some websites, apps, and social media promotions have made exaggerated claims that Tai Chi, Qigong, and Wushu can deliver dramatic results in days or weeks. While these traditional arts offer genuine health, martial, and personal development benefits, such promises are misleading and contradict the reality that skill and wellbeing develop gradually through consistent, structured practice. Many quick-fix programs lack authentic training, credible qualifications, and personalised instruction, and in some cases may even encourage unsafe practice. Students are encouraged to seek qualified teachers and recognised organisations such as Celestial Tai Chi College, maintain realistic expectations, think critically about extraordinary claims, and value the steady, long-term practice that preserves the true integrity of Chinese martial arts. |

Each issue also includes articles from our students and instructors, highlighting recent activities and sharing how Tai Chi and Qigong have positively impacted their lives. If you prefer to stay updated via our website rather than receive email newsletters, you can unsubscribe using the link at the bottom of this message. |
