| With things thawing out, hounds are eager to hunt! We have two hunts in part of our former McGuire's fixture. The property belonging to Mel Sadler and Lucy Hirsch has been dubbed "Foxhunt Country." We will enter at 251st and Lecompton. Look for instruction on whether we will pull in and park near the Arapaho jump or if ground conditions require parking on the road. The Wednesday hunt (starting at 1pm) and Saturday hunt will be there.
We also have an invite to join Harvard Hounds and Rolling Rock in McCune this coming Sunday. The address is 9765 NW 60th, McCune, KS. Ride off at 11. A hosted Lunch follows. Wearing of colors is authorized. RSVP to [email protected]. Hold Harmless forms here (here for juniors) and in FB files. No capping fee, but donation to Kennels is appreciated via Venmo @Harvard-Hounds a check payable to Harvard Foxhounds, or cash in hand to Kelli Rogers at the event. |

|
| As FLH is part of the Fort Leavenworth Family, Morale, Welfare, and Recreation (FMWR) program, members of the Fort Leavenworth Hunt can record and receive recognition from Fort Leavenworth for volunteer hours spent supporting the hunt. Recording volunteer hours is an individual choice and not a requirement, but is strongly supported by the FLH Masters. Recording hours both allows for individual recognition by Fort Leavenworth FMWR and for Fort Leavenworth leadership to understand the significant time contributed by our members to make FLH successful as an organization. The guide to the right will take you through the process of registering, applying for positions, and recording your hours. Please contact Jessica Kudzia with any questions. |
