Thank you for the recent order, and apologies for the delay in processing. Unfortunately we ran into a problem with President Trump's 35% tariff on Canadian goods. With brokerage fees, this tariff adds about 39-40% to the price – payable before entering the U.S.
We try to help by only charging 30% and paying the remaining
9-10% ourselves. Also, there's no sales tax on items shipped from Canada. Compared to local purchases, this exemption can
further reduce the extra cost – depending on your location.
Example: When buying a US$100 item in Seattle, you pay about US$110 with sales tax. For a US$100 item shipped from Canada, plus Trump’s tariff, you pay US$130. Difference: $20.00
It is unknown if this tariff will be reduced in the future.

U.S. House Votes to End Canada Tariffs (11 Feb 2026)
Trump threatened: “Any republican… that votes against Tariffs will seriously suffer the consequences come Election time…” He also said: “Canada has taken advantage of the United States on Trade for many years. They are among the worst in the world to deal with, especially as it relates to our Northern Border. TARIFFS makes a WIN for us, EASY. Republicans must keep it that way!”
Democrats argued: “Will you vote to lower the cost of living for the American family, or will you keep prices high out of loyalty to one person, Donald J. Trump?”
The bill for ending the tariffs on Canada passed with 219 against 211. It is likely to pass the Senate as well – but Trump can simply veto it, and Congress would need a two-thirds majority to overcome the veto.
Also, the Supreme Court is currently pondering the legality of Trump’s tariffs – but it is stacked with Trump appointees.
