End-of-Year Celebrations

To mark the close of another busy and rewarding year, AEG held End-of-Year celebrations at our Adelaide and Melbourne campuses, bringing colleagues together at each location to reflect, connect, and celebrate.

AIHE Student Shines in the National Pharmacies Christmas Pageant

We’re proud to share that Ma Charmaine Nogot, a 2nd-year MBA student and an AIHE Student Ambassador, was selected as one of the eight students across Adelaide to join StudyAdelaide’s float in the National Pharmacies Christmas Pageant. Representing the AIHE on the colourful Gingerbread House float, Charmaine described the experience as a special privilege and a joyful way to immerse herself in South Australia’s welcoming culture.

She also reflected on the personal growth the moment offered: “I’m actually a shy person, so facing such a huge crowd was outside my comfort zone. Studying at AIHE has taught me to step out of my shell. It was so rewarding to push myself, meet new people, and feel even more connected to Australian culture.”

The Stukent Marketing Management Simternship gives students the opportunity to:

Apply marketing strategy in a dynamic, real-world environment

Build teamwork, leadership, and critical thinking skills

Strengthen strategic confidence before entering industry roles

This challenge is more than an assessment. It’s an opportunity for experiential learning, reflection, and growth.

Wishing our teams all the best – your journey has just begun!

AIS Students Explore Cleland Wildlife Park and Hahndorf

AIS students enjoyed a memorable day exploring Cleland Wildlife Park, home to some of South Australia’s most iconic wildlife. Set in the Adelaide Hills, the park gave students a unique opportunity to see Australian animals they had previously only seen in pictures. Seeing kangaroos, koalas, and emus in real life was both exciting and eye-opening. Students were also able to feed the animals, making the experience even more interactive and unforgettable.

Following their wildlife encounter, the students visited Hahndorf, Australia’s oldest surviving German settlement. It is known for its charming German-style architecture, traditional pubs and bakeries, artisan shops, and local produce, offering a delightful blend of German heritage and Australian charm. Students enjoyed lunch, took a relaxed stroll through the town, and soaked in the vibrant atmosphere. To wrap up the day, students spent time at a nearby playground where they played frisbee and enjoyed casual games together, making the excursion both fun and socially engaging. The trip provided a wonderful opportunity to experience South Australia’s culture, history, and natural beauty while creating lasting memories.

Celebrating the success of our students, AIS continues to achieve, gaining 100% SACE completion with ATAR, higher than average for the state. This year’s international students from Cambodia, Vietnam, Hong Kong, China, Indonesia and the Philippines gained SACE with English as their second language, achievements highlighting their dedication and that of their teachers. 71% of all subject results were A or B grades.

Gaining ATARs of 88.75 and 87.95, respectively, the students worked tirelessly in their academic subjects. Huynh Bao Nguyen LE gained a Merit in AIF.

AIS also celebrates the Cambridge IGCSE English as Additional Language students, 100% of whom passed with 37.9% gaining A or A* in this globally recognised, rigorous subject. Most of our students gained 20 Stage 1 Credits for this subject. Congratulations Ngoc Van Anh LE, for gaining an A*. We are awaiting the next results from Cambridge IGCSE for the subject Global Perspectives. Wonderful internationally competitive results from this highly regarded qualification.
