Manzil Spaces

Image description

We’re proud to introduce Manzil Spaces, a community-powered initiative by The Community Foundation that transforms empty commercial properties into temporary hubs for charities and non-profits.

The programme aims to bring unused buildings back to life by creating short-term spaces that serve a genuine social purpose.

This unique service connects landlords with trusted charitable organisations in need of temporary space for office work, training, administration, creative arts, social enterprise, or community support. It provides landlords with a secure, zero-cost way to make meaningful use of their vacant properties without long-term commitments or added risk.

With over a decade of experience, The Community Foundation works in partnership with landlords, agents, councils, and grassroots organisations to manage each space responsibly. Whether you’re a landlord with an empty unit or a charity seeking space, Manzil Spaces offers a simple, effective solution that benefits the whole community.

Family Retreat - A Countryside Getaway for Families

Image description

Our first three-day Family Retreat at YHA Chester Trafford Hall was a heart-warming weekend of fun, togetherness, and lasting memories. From 31st October to 2nd November, 11 families from across the West Midlands joined us to connect, learn, and enjoy quality time away from daily routines.

The weekend was filled with exciting activities from creative family ice-breakers and values-based workshops to go-kart building and racing, orienteering, campfire fun, shelter-building in the rain and even fencing and archery. There was plenty of laughter, teamwork, and proud moments for both children and parents.

If you’d love to be part of the next Family Retreat, keep an eye on our updates, we would love to welcome you!
